Head Office Switches to 100% Renewable Energy (Japan - Pigeon)

On August 1, 2021, Pigeon Corporation began using ENEOS Power Corporation’s “Renewable Electricity (100% Renewable Energy from the Muroran Biomass Power Plant)” to power its head office in Chuo, Tokyo. This makes Pigeon’s head office the first Pigeon Group location to use 100% renewable energy, and will reduce annual CO2 emissions by around 252 tons.*

SDGs Training for New Employees (Japan - Pigeon)

In early July 2021, Pigeon Corporation conducted SDGs training for this year’s new employees. The aim of this training was to help new employees gain a deeper understanding of environmental and social issues and view them as matters that affect them personally.

Certification of Lactation Consultant (Turkey)

In September 2020, A total of 20 employees from Lansinoh Laboratories Medical Devices Design Industry and Commerce Ltd.Co., our Turkish Lansinoh Factory, and the Lansinoh Türkiye office in Istanbul started their training to become certified Lactation Consultants.

Pigeon Manufacturing Hyogo Corporation (PMH) was, in March 2021, recognized by the 2021 Certified Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program in the SME category, repeating PMH’s initial success in achieving recognition under the program last year.

The Pigeon Smile Lactation Research Institute was founded in March 2015 with the aim of identifying issues during the breastfeeding period for mothers, fathers, and babies and working with specialists to offer solutions.

Financial support for families with preterm infants: "Pigeon Preterm Infant Health Insurance" (China)

Pigeon (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (PSH) has partnered with Ping An Insurance Company of China, Ltd. to establish Pigeon Preterm Infant Health Insurance. With this initiative, PSH has helped to ease anxieties on the financial front for the families of babies bravely undergoing treatment.

Waste is reborn as breast cancer training kit (Thailand)

In June 2020, Thai Pigeon Co., Ltd. donated silicone waste material from the production process of our products to a research team led by Prof. Dr. Sarawut Rimdusit of Chulalongkorn University to be used for developing breast cancer training kits for early-stage breast cancer screening. This will provide a realistic touch experience, a cheaper and more stable supply of breast models.
