Turkish Factory receives LEED Gold Certification for Environmental Performance

Pigeon Group's factory in Turkey, Lansinoh Laboratories Medical Devices Design Industry and Commerce Ltd, Co, (LMD), has received Gold certification in LEED O+M (Operations & Maintenance) from LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), an international environmental certification system, for its efforts to reduce environmental impact.
LEED O+M (Operations & Maintenance) is a system that evaluates and certifies the environmental performance of existing buildings, including operational and management efforts.
LMD's wide-ranging efforts to reduce its environmental impact, including efficient energy use, development of a sustainable procurement policy, waste reduction, and effective use of rainwater, were recognized.
About LEED Certification
LEED（Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design）is a certification system developed and administered by the U.S.Green Building Council.
It provides a benchmark for healthy, efficient, carbon and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement and leadership.
