Launching Limited-Edition Nursing Bottles in Collaboration with Local Special Needs Artist

Singapore, Malaysia

Pigeon’s Purpose is “We want to make the world more baby-friendly by furthering our commitment to understanding and addressing babies’ unique needs.” As part of working to achieve this, we created limited-edition nursing bottles expressing a message of hope for a rich natural world and an equal society.

These nursing bottles are collaborations with The Animal Project, a social enterprise that supports artists with autism. Art by these artists is printed on the bottles, which are a limited-edition part of the SofTouchTM series, available in Singapore and Malaysia since 2022.

The richly diverse and beautiful animal designs on the bottle and package were created by Mr. Tay Jun-Yi, an artist with autism.

The Animal Project is a social enterprise that recognizes and celebrates the abilities of artists with special needs and supports them in exercising these abilities to the fullest. Artists associated with the project love animals and draw pictures of them unhesitatingly and intuitively. By manufacturing and selling high-quality lifestyle items based on their work, we raise awareness and contribute to the artists themselves. Sales from these nursing bottles form part of the artists’ income via a royalty payment scheme.

Additionally, and unusually for nursing bottles, these limited-edition bottles are sold in “can”-style packaging. After the bottle is removed from the packaging, parents can use it as a time capsule, storing items connected to cherished early memories of their baby.

By collaborating with a diverse range of people on products that can be used immediately after birth, we can help families with babies learn from an early age that there is a place for everyone to express their creativity.
