Environmental conservation through tree planting (France, Benelux)
2025.11.07
For each double hands-free breast pump sold, Lansinoh France and Lansinoh Benelux funds the planting of one tree in Malawi(landlocked country in southeastern Africa). Lansinoh France launched this activity in 2020 for the purpose of supporting sustainable parenting by acting responsibly towards our planet. A total of 16510 trees have been planted to date in conjunction with Reforest’Action.
Reforest'Action is an organization focused on large-scale reforestation and agroforestry* to address environmental challenges.
Inter Aide is a French NGO established in 1980 that specializes in development programs for the most vulnerable populations in Africa and Haiti.
In Malawi, the agroforestry project funded by Reforest'Action and led on the ground by the NGO Inter Aide aims to increase the autonomy of local communities and support subsistence farming by integrating trees into hedges around cultivated fields.
We will continue these activities to create a better environment for the next generation and to coexist with local communities.
* Agroforestry is a portmanteau combining “agriculture” and “forestry,” referring to an integrated farming and forestry system where trees, crops, and livestock are cultivated and raised together on the same land. Because this system allows producers to enjoy the benefits trees provide, such as shade, while cultivating diverse crops, it enriches ecosystems, contributes to environmental conservation, stabilizes incomes, and helps make sustainable land use possible.
