Supporting Babies with Cleft Lip and/or Palate (China)

In May 2021, Pigeon (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (PSH) cooperated with NPO Operation Smile in support of an initiative to provide surgery for babies with cleft lip and/or palate in Yunnan Province, China.

About the Initiative

Operation Smile offers surgery at no charge for infants born with cleft lip and/or palate in over 60 countries around the world, including China. In May 2021, over 60 babies underwent surgery for cleft lip and/or palate at a Yunnan hospital. PSH employees helped guide babies and their families to laboratories and operating theaters, learning about cleft lip and/or palate from families and medical staff to deepen their own understanding. PSH also donated food and nursing bottles for babies with cleft lip and/or palate to Operation Smile.

We will continue striving to be of service to babies and their families and support this initiative through product donations and direct participation.
