Lansinoh is committed to a healthy future for the babies and their families we serve and the planet we live on. On 30 November 2021, Lansinoh Germany took a step towards cleaning the forests.

This activity was planned and carried out along with our cooperation partner, the German Forest Protection Association (GFPA). An area of forest at Schulzendorf, Brandenburg (close to Berlin) was chosen. Different kinds of waste had been illegally dumped, such as glass, household appliances, roofing materials, polystyrene and a lot of plastic. Equipped with gloves and rubbish bags, Lansinoh Germany’s and GFPA’s staff cleared the area and removed a trailer full of garbage from nature.

It takes about 50 years for disposable coffee cups, 500 years for aluminum cans and even 6,000 years for polystyrene to degrade in a forest area.

The decade from 2021 to 2030 is defined as the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
we are happy to support this endeavor by demonstrating our commitment to a healthy future with the actions we take.
