Nov. 2, 2010, the Dahualin Pigeon Hope Primary School in Donghe Village, Qinghai Province, built with the aid of Pigeon Shanghai Co., Ltd. together with its dealer Yau Cheong Group Ltd. at a cost of RMB 400,000 held a grand inauguration ceremony. It is reported that the new school covers a floor area of 476 square meters, which greatly improves the school’s formerly crowded and backward condition. Moreover, it will merge surrounding primary schools, which in time will have over 300 students, twice as many as the present number. During the inauguration ceremony, Pigeon and Yau Cheong Group presented books, sports goods, computers, and other items to Dahualin primary school aimed at enriching the students’ extracurricular life. After that, Pigeon Shanghai GM Toshimi was given the title of Honorary President and chairman Seiichi Matsumura was honored as “Ambassador of Love”.
